Summary
The adrenaline that comes from a fight is nice, but watching people die or come close to it is a real damper on a guy’s mentality no matter how much he enjoys trying to do the right thing. Saving the day can’t work every day. That’s the price that has to be paid by those who try.
It’s days like these where Steve really starts to wonder how high the price is when it comes to the disconnect between doing what’s right for everyone else and doing what’s right for him.
