Summary
Connected to the Hunmoon in ways Rumi would never understand, they would pulse with life from every unsteady thrum of the magical bands that antagonize them; every time the Hunmoon would stir, they did too. Glowing that familiar and equally hideous violet, they gave away every flaw; they would spread across the planes of her body until one day they would consume her entirely — until all she was, all anyone would see, was her shame; her failures; her mistakes.
