Summary
The world's pretty screwy.
Pete's never understood why humans hate everyone. And, technically, he's human. But his parents had magic in them and so, he does too. It's made his life harder, for sure, but it's nothing compared to some other groups. He tries to not judge by first glances, to give everyone a solid chance. And mostly things go okay.
Mikey is a fae. His life, while it might sound exciting on the outside, is growing dull. He never gets the chance to leave the kingdom hes grown up in, helped to lead. That is, until one night, he does leave. It's an impulsive decision but it leads him right to Pete. And soon, both their lives are going to change.
