“Izuku remained where he was, sat in the ashes and soil, caked in both. His arms and legs shook, cold as ice, despite all the fire everywhere. His home was gone, his mother arrested, his village likely slaughtered. And now he was in the company of a mad barbarian, whose steed of choice was a dragon.
If he was to survive, Izuku would have to learn how to fight.”
Izuku, budding scholar, discovers a secret not far from his front door, and inadvertently topples into the middle of a tug-of-war that will affect the whole world. Unfortunately, he is also the sometime prisoner of a bad-mannered barbarian, with outdated ideas about knocking him unconscious and dragging him halfway across the continent. Apparently it's destiny. Izuku just feels like it's a bit of a nightmare. . .
Based on the Fantasy AU illustrations, with King Arthur archetypes and some super-fun sexual tension.
UPDATE 6/30/24 - Hi! Story on hiatus currently. I had most of the next chapter written and my hard drive died. I lost it all T_T We will rebuild but I'm having the busiest year ever so it'll take some time. For now, I hope you find great adventure elsewhere! xoxo
