Summary
The whiplash isn’t terrible, but you groan as you rub your neck from the sudden motion. Nothing’s bruised or broken, and at the least, you can’t tell now. “Fucking he–” You grunt as you shift, grabbing the door handle but it doesn’t budge. It remains locked. You squint at the dazed driver, head turned to the side and bloody as he groans into the steering wheel. Glass litters the floor, cold air reaching in with frosty fingers.
A shadow dances across the interior of the taxi, your heart squeezing as two yellow, segmented fingers reach to press a button on the door. The car clicks and the latches pop high. Your door immediately opens, so you snap to face the perpetrator and whip your hand to your chest. Your thoughts numb from the accident, and Moon leans with a sharp-toothed smile, eyes dimmed.
