Summary
*major character deaths are temporary!
It’s 06:12 in the general vicinity of Mars, and Faye, with no reason to believe otherwise, expects a typical Tuesday on the Bebop. When Big Shot provides information on a 150mil woolong bounty, she ends up being caught in something much bigger than herself – something that transcends the universe.
In what seems to be forever, it’s 06:12 in the general vicinity of Mars. Again, and again, and again. And her days all end the same: with Spike’s death. Fatal wounds, electrocution, cats, eating bad pie. Soon, it becomes a cosmic joke itself, and Faye must relive his death until she gets what she came for and breaks the loop she’s been trapped in.
And the case isn’t exactly how it initially seems, which is something she comes to learn over the incomprehensible amount of time in what she believes must be Hell. For most of it, she can’t get close to the truth at all. Neither to Spike, without him returning to his same old fate. But in one strange cycle something huge reveals itself. Whether it’s an anxious slip or part of the cruel methodology of the bounty head’s master plan, she doesn’t care; she seizes the chance like it’s her lifeline and refuses to let go.
