Summary
In the majestic Homura Empire, the royal family begins to decline.
Kiyotaka Ishimaru, is proclaimed Emperor under dubious circumstances after the former Emperor, Toranosuke Ishimaru, was exiled by his own allies when many of his crimes were discovered.
Kiyotaka is forced to "assume" a role for which he is not prepared, while his father, Takaaki Ishimaru, is forced to remain in the rear palace. Now he is under the tutelage of an ambitious political cabinet that uses him as a puppet to maintain their rule and then destroy the sole heir to the Ishimaru dynasty.
Will the young Emperor's life improve or worsen? Only time and Kiyotaka's actions will show what his fate will be.
