“I was— I was— Red Hood p— pressed the kn— knife to my throat again and I— I—”
“Shhh, it’s alright.”
“I thought I was going to die. There was b— blood everywhere and I couldn’t—”
Bruce gripped him tightly. “You’re alright, Tim. You’re safe now. You’re safe.”
“I—” Tim wriggled out of Bruce’s hold, needing to see him again, when someone else caught his attention.
Over near the doorway, Jason stood. His brows were knitted together in worry. He looked guilty and horrified, and at the same time, like he wanted to help but was hesitating.
But all Tim could see were his glinting green eyes.

// OR //

Summary
The title says it all. Tim got clickbaited by a cat into reliving his greatest fear.
~
“Mrrr,” she pointed at a tent. It was the Horror House. One of the worst scary businesses in Gotham. Toddler parties happened there.
“Why did you take me to—” Tim widened his eyes. “Hang on a minute.” He pulled out his wrist holo-computer and looked up his location. “Fucking hell, T. You led me right at the edge of Fort Clinton!” He turned to glare at the cat. “You want me to get fear-gassed?”
T smiled. Creepily.
“Riiiight,” Tim narrowed his eyes. “Well, it’s been fun and all, but, uh, I really need to get home.” He took a step back. “I know you’re a smart one, so you can probably take care of yourself. Don’t hold it against me for what I’m about to do.” He broke into a run.
T wasn’t any old mangy cat. Tim, through his love for cats and the distracting growing pile of dread in his stomach, had been ignoring all the warning signs. Cats that can understand what a human is saying on the first meeting and can lead directions? That was a neon sign saying danger.
Tim was right, Damian would be jealous. Jealous of his utter blissful naivety.

Summary
"Neither of us will be missed," Tim says with a manic smile as he rushes towards the other man, and suddenly they were both free-falling because Tim had just tackled him into the malfunctioning portal all the while cackling like they weren't about to die.
Ha, guess I'll really only sleep when I'm dead.
Moments before he hit the ground, he closed his eyes and sighed, preparing to meet the end. But then, he felt a strange pull and he was floating, weightless for a second before falling again until he actually hit the ground with a small oomph.
He opened his eyes to a wary man holding out some sort of floating scarf and watching him intensely, waiting, and blinked. "Where am I?"
Or,
Tim Drake did not expect to open his eyes ever again, but finds himself in the world of MHA instead of dying. -

Summary
A series of misunderstandings involving conspiracy theories and government secrets leads to a local Gothamite 'connecting' Bruce Wayne to the kickboxing furries that overrun Gotham.
What follows is a truly impressive internet campaign with the sole intention of creating the most embarrassing fanfiction of WayneBat known to man. The only problem being that the deeper Jayden goes into the rabbit hole, the more they realize that other Billionaires are so, so, much worse.
Lex Luthor's ego needs a nuke anyway. Even if said nuke results in robot monkeys raiding Jayden's house because they didn't know how to use a VPN.
In this one case, the Ao3 authors curse might have been self-inflicted.
(I was informed recently that DC has an in-universe Ao3 equivalent called 'Tales of our own', I will be changing every instance of ao3 to to3 the next time I update)

Summary
A lot changes in a year.
(He hadn't even known it was a year. Isn't that awful? There's no way to track the days when there's no windows, no lights-out, no food rations. It was just monotony and trying to break out of an impenetrable cell and the eventual knowledge that everyone thought he was dead. There would be no rescue.)
His heart thuds weirdly, an offbeat rhythm that he tries—and fails—to count. His hands twitch when he's not focusing on them. His ears are ringing. There's a gash on his arm that he knows with absolute certainty will scar, but for now it's wrapped up in white bandages that feel rough on his skin.

Summary
Janet Drake was a storyteller.
She loved narrating different tales to Tim. Every night without fail, before little Tim went to bed, she would tell him a story. Tim loved hearing all of them, they took him to places he could never imagine. He loved every single story that spilled from his mom's lips.
Except for The Adventures of The Naughty Boy Who Had No Name.
Whenever Tim misbehaved, Janet would make him sit down on his knees, then she would sit in front of him, sometimes on a chair, sometimes on the floor, and she would tell him stories of a boy who was a bad child.
A boy who never listened to his parents. A boy who was arrogant and selfish. And in every story, the boy always ended up dead.
Tim was smart. He knew when the stories were about him.
Janet always loved visuals. She described in detailed length the many different ways the boy died. Gruesome, painful, disgusting ways.
Janet was an excellent storyteller. And Tim was afraid of those stories coming to life.
