It’s almost funny; Yoichi swears that the teasing edges of the bastard's words are tangible, and that he can possibly grab them and shove them back Michael’s throat.
“You fucking wish.” Yoichi spits, falling back effortlessly into their usual banter; it clicks like two puzzle pieces from the same detail on a picture, like they both have counted down the years before being able to reunite.
Or, Yoichi thinks he can spend a lazy, peaceful summer in Germany, in a familiar house owned by his parents' friends. Enters Michael Kaiser, his childhood friend. It's not like he hates him : Yoichi has a lot of good memories that include Michael. It's just that he's also the last guy on Earth you would like to spend your holidays with.
Or, Kaiser is stuck in a house for at least an entire month with none other than Yoichi, his childhood friend, on whom he unfortunately has a long-lasting childhood crush. This secret, for a plethora of reasons, will be taken to his grave (hopefully).

Summary
Ebenezer Scrooge's sister, Fan, dies at age five as a result of the abuse experienced via their alcoholic father. He is locked away in jail for his abuse of the children and Scrooge is orphaned. Later to be adopted by a loving couple, the Fezziwigs. When he is enrolled in public school, Scrooge meets the boy he'll forever know as his closest friend - Jacob Marley. Yet, unbeknownst to Scrooge - Marley is heavily obsessed with him. However, at age 15, Scrooge enters a relationship with a girl called Belle Savelli. Marley begins to spiral himself into insanity, discarding his family, years of his life and sanity to plot and scheme Scrooge and Belle's demise. All in an effort to have Scrooge to himself, but are his efforts in vain?
This is a prequel to an already finished fic, Increase The Surplus Population (ITSP). It's mainly context for ITSP and for fun. It's for the people who liked ITSP and wanted more context and backstory. I know a good group of people who were excited for this, so here it is.

Sitting atop the Palais mermonia the former archon contemplates her life for the last few months and stares out over the edge with her hand holding her vision in the air above the perilous drop below.
Should she let it go or keep it close to her heart. Should she follow after it or does she let it go by itself? Or should she live the life she now has as a frail and vulnerable human and try to find happiness despite all her suffering.
But she doesn't get the chance to choose because an uninvited voice calls out her name and it startles her causing her to lose her grip on her vision. Unfortunately she makes the mistake of trying to grab it before it falls and she slips.
As she falls through the air she closes her eyes as she regrets her mistake before landing.
But she isn't the one that hits the ground.
After being saved by the knave furina ends up taking care of her in her home, but one thing she didn't know was that the knave has been suppressing her rut for years by abusing suppressants. But the knave hasn't taken them in days and her rut is starting around the former archon who is starting her first heat.
