Summary
It’s a world of war. Diplomatic relations are off the table and youths are drafted into warfront daily. It’s a world for alphas: the protectors, the providers, and the keepers. And he respects that. He truly does. However, he does not appreciate sending his wounded father to war even if the emperor was the one who ordered it. Jungwon won’t have it. So despite being from the lowest designation in the a/b/o hierarchy, he sneaks himself into war.
If diplomatic relations can fix something, there is no need to send alphas to war, be they old or young. But if war is required, then the oldest should take their parent’s place. However, Jungwon is an only child, so what choice does he have but to enlist himself in the imperial army? If the emperor is against it, then so be it!
Or: Jungwon’s biggest middle finger to the backward society of ancient China that has stereotypes against omegas and his absolute fucks to give about it.
