Summary

His rules keep him alive, especially the most important — no communication with anyone, not even to save their life.
Then he sees a cute, chubby-cheeked man with a gummy smile and big muscles fall beneath a horde of zombies and he can’t help but break his rules. Saving Jongho’s life was a mistake he can’t bring himself to regret, not even when it leads to him breaking all of his rules just to see that smile once more.

He remembered the moment of impact, the feeling of being sent flying only to be run over yet a second time where he lay. He remembered the pain, and the sound of rending metal and shattering glass as the truck wrapped itself around a telephone pole; he remembered the way he couldn’t hear at all out of his right ear, he remembered gagging on his own blood as he lay on the concrete… but somehow he was still here. He was here, in his apartment, alive and well with Wooyoung holding on to him so hard it hurt.

The mayor denies that they had stolen anything, though Wooyoung doesn't believe it. It leads to a organised fight between the two of them and go back to Wellerman afterwards. This leads to Yeosang becoming more curious about the forbidden city and ends up going to Wellerman. He is caught and Wooyoung has the idea to keep him captive. What will happen when the mayor finds out that Yeosang is being held captive? Will the stolen item be returned? Or will Yeosang remain a captive forever?

The rhythmic sound of Yeosang's feet striking on the pavement slows before he notices his breath has grown ragged. His legs are wobbly and uncertain from exertion, protesting the breakneck speed he's pushing them to. With a frustrated groan, he gives in to the exhaustion and lets the whirlwind slow to a gentle breeze. His pace drops first to a jog and then to a walk before he pulls to the side of the paved path, coming to a stop and looking out over the dark water of the river as he tries to catch his breath.
He wishes it was enough to quiet the thoughts for good. To ease the aching restlessness deep in his bones. But, like hungry wolves chasing down their prey, they catch him the moment he stops running.
