Summary
“You may be no mage, but you take so much after father, you know? Don't ever lose it, not for this or for anything to come. We've lost so much already.”
In Vimmark Mountains, Bethany says something that gets stuck to Caelum's mind, specially as he has to say his goodbyes and watch her go back to the Circle, which leads to buried feelings coming to light. Family is the most complicated thing, after all.

Summary
Perhaps it wouldn’t count as long as he didn’t touch her, Fenris thought, almost reaching for the garment. Almost.
“No,” he growled.
Hawke’s mouth split wider, her grin impossibly smug, and Fenris hated her, he hated her for what she had done to him, what she was still doing to him.
With a deft flick of her foot, her smallclothes sailed to the floor, landing atop the pile of her breeches.

First, Fenris stumbles onto Hawke engaging in some "alone time." Later, he helps her cope after the events at the Warden prison – and comes to a decision about their relationship. Set pre- and post-Legacy, between Acts II and III.Series

Summary
“I wouldn’t know where to start,” he said at last, barely above a whisper.
“Anywhere,” she said simply. “Brush my hair out of my face. Trail your fingers down my arm. Kick me under the table at The Hanged Man.”
He snorted. “One of those is not like the others.”
She laughed. “A start is a start. Or” - the bright mirth in her eyes faded, replaced by glittering mischief - “if it would be easier… I could touch you.”

Summary
When his father had died, they hadn’t had a proper funeral. Too scared of any attention to them it may bring, though they did ask a Lay Sister from the Chantry in Lothering to come out to the farm to perform the rights. His mother had wanted it done, and so for her sake, Carver had gone down to the Chantry himself to ask a young Sister to help them. She’d been Orlesian, Hawke remembers. And her red hair gleamed like the funeral pyre in the afternoon sunlight.
Now, in Kirkwall’s Chantry, they gather for a proper funeral for Leandra Amell.
