Throughout the short months Derek has been spending at the Stilinski Orphanage, he's come to a few conclusions. One, for the Stilinski's, bullying is a zero tolerance thing. There are hundreds of kids staying under their roof and they want things to be peaceful.
Of course, with that many children in one place, with different backgrounds and ethnicities, not everyone follows this rule. The thing is that because the Stilinski Orphanage is actually very popular and well respected, kids circle in and out in a decently fast cycle. Enforcing the strict no bullying rule isn't always as effective, and so sometimes, these bullies get called to the headmaster's office and then transferred to another orphanage, in a place that's far, far away from Beacon Hills.
Except Derek knows better.
He's pretty sure the Stilinskis eat the 'transferred' bullies. Not that he really cares.

Shoto sacrifices himself and protects Bakugou when the building collapses on them. Bakugou is worried and tells Shoto that he's not dying and he doesn't. Shoto has a pipe embedded in him. Shoto thinks he's going to die so he thanks Bakugou for being here and trying but Bakugou says he won't accept it and that Shoto won't die. There's also mention how they're the number one hero.
Shoto eventually wakes up in the hospital and Bakugou helps him drink his water. Apparently Bakugou had to repeat to Shoto that they're in the hospital since Shoto keeps on forgetting. Shoto's legs have parasthesia but hopeful that he will get better again.

Mention how the class calls Shoto pretty but he thinks they're pitying him and just comforting him. Mentions of Shoto being leered at by older perverted pedophile men, lol.
Shoto ask Yaoyorozu to put makeup on him and even cover his scars. The class thinks Shoto looks good and Kaminari even ask Shoto out on a date. Bakugou says Shoto looks uglier than before and leaves. Shoto starts to cry and the class comforts him and says he looks good even without makeup.
Later, Bakugou shows up to Shoto's room. Bakugou is surprised when he sees Shoto and is surprised that Shoto cried. Shoto notices that Bakugou's has a black eye and ask if he's okay and if it was a villain. Bakugou says Shoto is kind and Shoto says they're still friends. Bakugou says that Yaoyorozu and Kirishima scolded Bakugou and that Midoriya punched him.
Bakugou says he doesn't think Shoto is ugly and thinks he's pretty. Shoto mentions that he felt pretty today since he hates his scar and thought he was ugly since he was 5. Bakugou apologizes and says he thinks Shoto is really pretty and even admits that Shoto is his gay awakening and wonders why Shoto would let him call him Scarface. Bakugou says he only dated other boys since he didn't think he had a chance with Shoto and says Shoto is prettier.
Bakugou ask Shoto out.
