Summary
It was just another day in Konoha. The sun shining brightly over the serene landscape was but a stark contrast to the enmities masked by forced smiles and courtesy, rotting mindsets barely covered by hypocrisy and inhumane politics. The extent of rot in the system could be garnered from the sad irony that all the major shinobi clans encompassed in the village as protectors and unifiers of the state were divided. Instead of being a unified force, each clan was drunk on their strength and blinded by pride, blissfully ignorant of the insidious designs of the hands behind the scene pulling their strings.

this is an alternate, a what if, with an extra character (or a few extra characters). this is probably taking itself too seriously but it's meant to be a better start (not a whole rewrite) to the story, with lesser angst and more wholesome bits. the uchiha aren't dead/don't die and naruto has a few helpers and makes friends early
