Summary

A promise to Obito to protect Rin was all it took for Kakashi to become her sole guardian angel. That promise can only be taken so far when Kakashi is burdened by his feelings and his misunderstanding of Rin's own.
When Obito comes back plant-like and still close as ever with Rin, Kakashi surrenders her.
Rin knocks some sense into him after years of yearning.
