如今，地脉意外破损，世界再次面临混沌的危机，日之秘术四大传统世家内部暗流涌动，蛰伏百年的红蛾密教蠢蠢欲动——
而我们的主人公之一，埃索斯，正刚刚睁开眼睛，失去了大部分的记忆。
哦，顺带一提，他还死了个老婆。架空世界，虽然设定上有八大秘术流派，对应各种各样的神秘学内容，不过大体上还是剑与魔法日式西幻那套，战力也不是重点，很不严谨很随便。以及主角团的性格个个婆妈到极了，各有各的拧巴，各有各的问题。
全文不含涩涩，但分级选了最高是因为含有血·腥·猎·奇内容【高亮！】【Cannibalism高亮！】，且会有露骨描写，不过不是猎奇文，只是主角和反派的能力，嗯……相当不妙。虽然标签很吓人，也的确有这样的桥段，不过并不是什么很黑暗的文，更不是黑深残，真的就是主角和反派用的魔法涉及猎奇要素而已。（埃索斯：我不做人啦！）

And he does. With no succor, only discourtesy. “When the grand equation converges,” he whispers, as if confiding the secret of life itself onto her, “your very soul shall face the ultimate sine wave of taxation.”

Sentiments of inadequacy follow Shiki Misaki. Desperate to stand on equal ground with those she admires, she recites incantations of old to request help from beyond the grave for the talent she feels is unattainable. Soon, however, she realizes her insecurities do not appear in a skeletal and hellish image, but rather, in the form of dark and candor beauty—forcing her to form a covenant with the Reaper Sho Minamimoto.
