While she and her army were besieging the border fortress of Pelusium, the roman general Gaius Julius Caesar landed in the Egyptian capital Alexandria. Cleopatra knows that her recognition as Queen of Egypt depends on the goodwill of Rome. She decides to put all her stakes on one card and plans a secret meeting with the famous and notorious general on the enemy's territory.
