Stuck in a psychogenic coma, Dazai Osamu is forever stuck inside the reality of his kindergarten years. The kindergarten in which he met Edogawa Ranpo, his childhood sweetheart. Indefinitely staying in a period of life filled with nothing but love, premature longing and childlike wonder is very dangerous: Dazai found it less and less in himself to try and wake up, forgetting the one he left in the human, waking world.
That someone is Ranpo himself. Stuck in a grief he shouldn't (yet) feel, the detective stumbles through the waking life, waiting for the moment his sweet lover wakes up.
If he ever will one day, that is.

In Yokohama high, Chuuya recently joined Theatre Club. The only issue is that so did Dazai, his annoying friend, Fyodor, his crush that he saw, like, once a day in class. All of a sudden, the stars align, and he gets the part in the play Heathers that directly correlates with Fyodor's part, and they are casted as the mains Veronica and JD. Chuuya, of course, wishes he didn't have to wear a skirt, but it would do. However, Dazai warns him of the dangers of having a crush on someone as scary as Fyodor, but Chuuya doesn't believe it, knowing that Dazai has been a prankster since they've met. Will things end up like a stinky stupid romance novel that Chuuya HATES, or will the drama ensue? well it is theatre, so expect the latter.

Chuuya nakahara likes to present himself as strong, he’s found himself years before. He knows his place..he thinks. He hates dazais guts, but he trusts him.
The two find eachother at a low time, they’ve faced worse than mental issues. They’ll be able to work things out together like always.
