Summary
She picks up her cup smoothly, sips it silently, all while holding his gaze. They both know it is dangerous, know that there could be eyes and ears all around, but she’s already thrown all caution to the wind with that statement. Her cards are all laid out before her. Roy knows she will understand if he walks through that door and doesn’t look back, or pretends she’d never said anything at all, and would simply carry on as they usually do, despite having crept into this territory before. She’d follow regardless.
