Xingqiu’s hand reaches out to brush against the different fabrics, lace and silk and velvet. Chongyun wants to say stop, don’t touch any of it, but Xingqiu wouldn’t listen and there is something preventing Chongyun from speaking the words out loud anyway. Curiosity, maybe.
“So short,” Xingqiu observes, picking up a size and getting a closer look. It’s a plain black, soft-looking skirt. And then, because he’s completely lost his mind, Xingqiu holds the skirt against his body and peers down at it. “Ha, could you fit? Hmm. What do you think, Chongyun, would it look good on me?”
