For someone he'd hero-worshipped for so long, Steve Rogers in the flesh is a pretty big disappointment. For one thing, he keeps looking at Tony as though he reminds him of someone else, and even if he never says anything, Tony's pretty sure it's his father. A lifetime of not measuring up to Howard's expectations is more than enough, thank you very much, and he's certainly not going to make an effort to live up to any of Steve's. Steve's pretty clearly failed to live up to his expectations, in any case, and that's not hypocritical at all.

Summary

She decides to try her hardest to fix what has been broken--for Bruno, and maybe a little for herself, too.

This made my heart ache so much, like...it literally hurt, but in a good way ofc! And that heart-warming ending, healed me, and put the pieces of my heart back together.
My favorite kind of fic. I absolutely loved it, all of it, from the first paragraph to the last one, it was an extremely inmersive story. However, note to self: have some tissues and lots of water (to rehydrate) at hand, when you come back to re-read this one. You're gonna need them, trust me, future me. -

Todoroki Shouto is the number three hero in Japan, he’s loved by all mostly because of his sweet yet stoic attitude and his beauty. At least that’s until a lawsuit gets dropped on his lap, something about repeated destruction of property and loss of business? He didn’t really remember. But either way, Bakugou (the co-owner of Todoroki Hero Agency) isn’t very happy about it and wants him to talk to the plaintiff and try to smooth things over; for the sake of their agency and for the sake of Todoroki’s image.
Midoriya Izuku owns a small café named “The Green Rose” along the outskirts of Tokyo. He completed high school in the support course at UA, graduated at the top of his class, literally tied with Hatsume Mei, but a year after graduation, an accident in the lab left him unable to do detail work, so he retired to instead open a cafe. Now, his café is up and running, it’s pretty popular too, at least it would be if a certain Half n’Half hero didn’t keep icing it over or wrecking it every other week.

“Todoroki, I don't think you understand.” Aizawa stands, staring down at him, and Shouto can’t help how small he feels under his gaze. “You don’t have a choice here. Either you fix your costume so you're not at risk of dying before you graduate, or you leave the hero course. This programme is compulsory. Fail to complete it, and you won't have to worry about graduating.”
Shouto doesn't say anything, merely slings his bag over one shoulder and stalks out of the door. He’ll pass this programme one way or another, but his costume isn’t going to change at all. No matter what some idiotic support student has to say about it.
When Aizawa deems his costume 'hazardous' to his health, Shouto is forced to find help in the support course; Help in the form of a very annoying, very rude, but kind of cute guy.
Izuku is as unwilling to help as Todoroki is to be helped, but he likes a challenge. Besides, maybe, somewhere deep deep down, the 'Ice Prince' isn't as bad as everyone says he is…Bookmarked by DuugaDuuga
