Summary
Trish Una has always been a very good person. Better than good. The best. Perfect.
She didn't make mistakes. Or at least not ones everyone couldn't sweep under the table.
Ever since her parent's divorce, everyone's treated her like glass. In a sense, it's given her near perfect immunity.
And that's something she's fallen into the bad habit of testing. Pushing the limits of everyone around her just to see how much they'd take.
What was that opening quote from that one show she was watching the other day? 'There's something dangerous about the boredom of teenage girls', or something like that.
Her mother was listening to the TV from the kitchen that morning. She said it was true but Trish didn't really get it.
It's funny that she remembers that now; tears running down her face as she sits on the snowy bank of a river that's yet to be frosted over - staring at the merciless rip currents coursing through the icy water.
Trish Una is a very good person who's done something horrible.
