Summary
The whole affair at the station is a blur of bureaucracy and dull questions. Baekjin gives a terse statement, self-defense, and ignores the rest. The whole time, he feels a gaze on him. He looks up. Suho is watching him from across the room, his head tilted, a puzzled, almost analytical look in his eyes.
Baekjin holds his stare, his own expression a blank wall. Suho’s face immediately breaks into a smile. It’s too warm, too genuine, directed at a stranger he just met in a brawl. It throws Baekjin off balance.
“You know,” Suho says, leaning forward as if sharing a secret, “you remind me of someone.”
Ah. So that's it. The smile isn't for him, it's for whoever he reminds Suho of. The realization should be a relief, but it just twists something old and painful in his gut. Because, fucking hell, Suho reminds him of someone, too. The more he talks—to Baekjin, to the officers, to anyone who will listen—the more Baekjin thinks about Humin. The same easy charm, the same loud friendliness, the same undercurrent of dumb, endearing confidence.
Baekjin needs to get away from him fast.

Summary
