Marinette Dupain-Cheng was different from everyone else.
She never got her wings.
At first, the doctors thought it was some sort of deffect and tried all sorts of tests on her, maybe she was a late bloomer? She wasn't. She didn't even have the bone structure that would allow her to develop wings.
Resigned to her soulmateless fate, she decided to just follow her heart and do as fairy tales say, eventually she'd find her "One True Love" for sure.
