“Sora? It’s me,” Riku told him, face morphing into something softer, giving him a reassuring smile that felt ill-fitting on his too-old face. His insides burned hotter. “You’re okay.”
“What’s going on?” he demanded harshly. “Where am I?”
Every time he thought Riku was making a weird face, he made another one that felt even weirder. This time he was staring at him bewildered, dread clouding his eyes as they went wide. “Why are you… like this?” Sora asked.
