Summary
Izuku is beyond tired, today, and he doesn't want to let it show. He doesn't want to be weak, or a burden, or to fail the people around him.But Aizawa-sensei notices. And Izuku allows himself to trust in that safety, partially if not fully, and it helps. It helps a lot.

"You don't have to talk to me if you don't want to, kiddo, but it seems like you're having a rough day. Chronic pain, or a rough night or something?" And Izuku hesitates at that, admittedly. It's impossible not to, with the earnest gleam to their hero's eyes, the way that he has slumped just enough to be about eye level with Izuku, leaning back against his podium, hands open, palm-up, resting against his thighs. It's open, safe, considerate.
Izuku doesn't want to lie to Aizawa-sensei, not when the man is so genuinely good to him, to the rest of the class. Not when he really seems to care about them all. (To even care about Izuku.)
