Summary
Steve and Bucky are both cheapskates in their own way even now that they have enough money to probably live in a house 3x the size of the one they currently own— their first real house, even if it isn’t the first home they’ve shared together. Bucky always makes fun of Steve for clipping coupons out of the local paper and searching for sales on fresh produce, but (and Steve won’t ever admit this to his husband because he knows damn well it’d just provide more ammo to tease with) Steve finds it relaxing.
Besides, at least his penny-pinching habits are productive. Bucky’s are just gross.
