“This is the way.” Paz responds instinctively.
After a moment’s hesitation, Djarin echos them. It looks like a droid reboot—unnatural stillness exploding into exaggerated movements before recalibration kicks in. “This is the way.”
“Do you accept the match?”
Djarin’s visor tips toward Paz dubiously. There’s a beat where he waits for Paz to answer first, calling into question just how much he actually understands of the ritual they’ve found themselves in. It is the right of the omega to reject or accept a match, not the alpha. Finally he turns back to the armorer. It seems he at least knows the appropriate responses. “Alpha Vizsla has proven a strong defender of clan and covert. I accept.”

A woman stood in front of him, dressed in a magenta pink dress that fell around her like flower petals, gazing at him with a stern look that was unfamiliar on her usually warm face.
“Wei Wuxian, since you’ve acted in such a way, don’t blame us for withdrawing our name from you.”
The woman was Jiang Yanli, dressed in strangely formal attire, taken aback he wondered just what was happening?!
Written above her head, were floating words, “Affection 0%”
The floating image in front of him changed its words, and then disappeared with its final message.

Things would take a turn for the worst when he gets the word of an ex-bestfriend. For what he thought he was dead, was right in front of his very eyes. Though hurt and distant, leading themselves into the unknown, both Capper and Chummer and the others try to work together to undermine his Majesty's plans.
