Summary
Alessandra Lutz has nothing left.
After losing everything the day Shiganshina falls, Alessandra signs the rest of her life away to the Scouting Regiment. To her, it's a chance—however slim—at absolution. To most others, it's drawn-out suicide.
But that's fine. Alessandra can play a long game. Maybe saving a few lives will help her rest easy when she finally does kick the bucket.
All it takes is one shit-mouthed, bull-headed Scout captain with even more demons than her to ruin what was a perfect plan.
Titans. Traitors. Secrets buried within the Walls themselves. Through it all, two broken people contend with the idea that maybe—just maybe—it's okay to want to live. Even with the guilt. Even with each other.
Maybe they’re both damned. Maybe they’re both doomed.
Either way, it’ll probably be together.
