Summary
While talking to Will in the shed, trying to break through the Mind Flayer's control, Mike starts thinking about what he would do if Will gave up, and completely unintentionally blurts, "I love you." Mike's existential crisis follows. Meanwhile, Will uses the words as his anchor, holding onto this glimmer of hope with all his might as he struggles to hang on against the Mind Flayer.
Basically, a more Mike/Will-centric version of episodes 8 and 9 and the time beyond, with a good dose of of grit and Serious Stuff but also plenty of happiness and some fluff to come. (I mean, come on - Will is a gay kid in the 80s who just craves love and acceptance, and he deserves A Break. Mike is just realizing he's bisexual and he needs some love and acceptance and A Break too.)

This revaluation along with the return of the upside down and the mind flayer leads the group on mission against time to stop Brenner and the Mind Flayer.
Along with bringing secrets long since hidden to light.
One thing is for sure one summer can change everything.
This is basically what I think season 3 should have been like, and I figured that since we are sadly not getting season 4 for a while I might as well write it down and post it. I know that the summary isn’t the best but I promise it’s a lot better then the summary.

Summary
It is the summer of 1985 and everything seems to be better in the town of Hawkins, the mind flayre has been defated and the gate to the upside down was closed. At least that is what everyone thinks.
In one universe Bill Hargrove gets possessed by the Mind Flayre. But in this one it is Susan and Neil Hargrove.
Max and Billy both notice that something is off in the town, so they and party team up to defeat the upside down once and for all.

Hawkins had a way of getting into its people's minds. In the little time Chance'd been on town, all sort of weird occurrences had happened, but he never truly believed any of the stories and rumors looming around. Not until he ended up stuck on another dimension with the famously-called zombie boy.
Chance'd never been a big fan of scary movies, he very much enjoyed having a normal heart rate. Too bad he fell in love with a pretty much possessed boy.
