Summary
When Obi-Wan Kenobi is 12 he ages out. He is sent to serve in the AgriCorps, but he never actually makes it there, swept off by the pirates and forced into slavery. He ends up on Bandomeer, working in the Offworld Mining Corporation’s ionite mines. But in this world, there is no Qui Gon - Jinn to save him, no tale of deceit and redemption, no trip back to the Jedi Temple - the Jedi Master has died almost a decade earlier on Naboo, leaving Anakin Skywalker, the Chosen One, to be trained by a very reluctant Mace Windu.
Five years after Obi-Wan is thrown into Bandomeer mines, a mission by the Senate is sent to the planet in order to negotiate a trade deal. One of the emissaries is no other than the famed General Anakin Skywalker.
