My take on TanoSan96's AU. Bill Cipher is over and done with this world's rules. Why is even the tiniest flicker of happiness meant to be over in a flash? Why couldn't things just stay fun and safe and nice? What had anyone done to deserve this?
People shouldn't have to suffer through the pain that was reality. To have everything you believed to be true change in one fateful, nasty fall.
So, alongside his slightly unwilling brother, Bill would change rules. Replace them with only the best things in life; an endless party. And he had found the help he needed: Zero Gravity's #3 journal.
Now, if nosy guardians could just mind their own business and hand over what he needed, it would make his task easier. -

Summary
On June 23rd, 1973, their brother Jack went missing during Dee's birthday party. But life goes on, and so does the Kennedy family; even if they never found out what became of their brother that day. But Dee refuses to pretend she's moved on from her brother's disappearance four years ago, and even though they gave him a funeral and everything, she still hopes that maybe he's still alive out there somewhere.
And Jack knows his family's out there, too, hopefully living much better lives than his new one here in this god-forsaken diner, trapped in this awful robot. At this point, seeing his siblings again is just a pipe dream, but he can at least dream of escaping this hellhole, right?

Summary
The darkness called, hello. It spoke to a hole inside of Yeonjun's chest. He felt kinship with it. Felt it in the circular pupils of his eyes, widening, fruitlessly perceiving something that existed beyond his vision.
It wanted him.
It needed him, more than he had ever needed anything. Perhaps anyone.
The only thing that tethered him here was Soobin. With Yeonjun’s wrists looped around his neck, as if they were still in the club, Soobin was looking at him—waiting for an answer. Yeonjun gazed back at him, stricken, holding his breath.
Or: Yeonjun wakes up in purgatory, where he encounters a familiar stranger he can't seem to place. As they become consumed by vivid memories of their life together, Yeonjun recalls a love that once made his life worth living.
