Roman had never been more grateful than fae had been to the Mindful coven. They had given faem and faer little brother Virgil a sanctuary when Roman was on the end of faer rope. Months have passed now and fae is ready to move on and start caring for Virgil and faemself without the coven's help. However, Patton has very different plans for Roman and faer brother, and he is not very inclined to let the two siblings run off on their own and away from his nest.

James Howlett, more commonly known as the Wolverine. Vampire. Definitely a local legend. There wasn’t a soul that hadn’t tried to hunt him, even catch a glimpse of him, and it had been so many years, so many variations of the tale through generations, that he had nearly become a myth. Something that was whispered round drunken campfires, something that children dared each other to run into the woods for. There may not have been belief, but there was fear. It was a name best left unspoken. As for what he’d done to earn his terrorous reputation, that was a story for another time.

Summary
A university house party is the perfect hunting ground for young vampires. It has the seductive air of being on the prowl, the ability to lean into carnal desires if one wishes to. Janus did, very much so, and often indulged in these events.
To the untrained eye, the house could have already been intoxicating. It pulsed with music, wild light flashed across the windows. Students were packed into the house, slithering against each, warm, flushed flesh against flesh. It was practically mouth-watering.
Logan was less enthused to witness this feast of awkward indulgence. Logan was never one to draw out a hunt. University parties never seemed to be particularly fruitful either, the blood always taking on a dry twinge due to the alcohol.
But Janus had asked, and seeing that there was no logical reason he should not attend Janus on the literal hunting ground, he came. And as soon as Janus opened the door he immediately regretted coming.

Lorsqu'il est offert à Logan La Baie, Virgil craint de ne pas pouvoir rentrer dans le moule du calice calme et confiant, lui qui a toujours été une boule de nerfs.Pour Logan, Virgil n'est pas un mauvais calice, simplement un calice insatisfait de son sort.
