Summary
Dottore felt the incoming rut days ago. It started with the usual oversensitivity to scents and touch. Where even the cold comfort of the labs became almost an unbearable ache. He stopped taking his suppressants the month prior after Pantalone pulled at his furred fox ear for exceeding the dosages and putting his health at risk. He tried explaining to the Ninth how he didn’t want to deal with the biological reactions when there was so much work and experiments he wanted to run.
“It’s a waste of time.” he said.
Pantalone only raised an eyebrow at him, his long velvet ears flicking just slightly. The banker cupped his cheek with a hand and smiled mischievously.
“And if I were to offer myself for every rut you have, in exchange? Would it be…less boring?”
Well. With such an enticing offer, he would have been an absolute fool to refuse.
