Summary
After so much blood and trauma, they took the mantle of The Lord of Shades. Ghost simply wanted peace for themselves, for all of the corpses of their siblings they had encountered on their journey.
So what do they do? They go back in time and bring the memories of the future with them. With all of the knowledge of the future and a second chance at life, trying to hide from the one who brought them to life and yet took their lives away, could they all have peace?

Summary
Things… change.
Ghost supposes that many would probably say that they get better. They do get better, don’t they? Yes, they do. Things change, and they are better. The Infection is gone, and Hollow is safe, and Hornet is happy, and so Ghost is fine. Perhaps they are selfish, and they mourn a dying world that they can never return to, and they are more alone than ever before, but they’ll get over it.
…And it’s not as if anyone will notice if they don’t.

It is only after their family is happy, and the kingdom is safe, and the Abyss is soothed to sleep, that they realize just how lonely it is as the last remaining piece of a future never to be.- Language:

Being a vessel sounded fun. Who wouldn’t want to be a demigod? Being born in the Abyss was less fun, but at least he survived the initial purge of his siblings. Being trapped in the Abyss alone for months on end? Decidedly not fun. But now he had found a way out! Probably. Maybe. And hey, it wasn’t like having a psychotic break in the first few weeks of his new life would have any long-lasting effects on him, right?

The ship lies half-constructed in the bay, recently vacated of construction workers for the evening. Late evening. This project has fostered a bewildering obsession in people. None of them get angry about working overtime. They even volunteer for it, without questioning their superiors about pay. It's unnerving.
