Izuku’s pulse tripped into overdrive as his cheeks rapidly grew hot and pink. He couldn’t risk looking at Katsuki, but he could feel him shifting where their hips were casually touching.
“Ahh, yeah, right!” Izuku gulped, trying to take a subtle step away from Katsuki. “My friend. Yeah, I–you know, we’d planned to meet up and it was just, uh. I felt bad, cause he’s my friend, and I didn’t want to leave my friend out and–”

The room is still, their harsh breaths fill the air, outside the moon shines brightly. Izuku picks at the edge of a bandage on his wrist, feels the strap of his sling dig into his shoulder. The whir of machinery buzzes quietly in the background.
“The fuck did you even come here for if you’re so mad?” Katsuki finally asks, his voice just a wisp in the air, hanging heavy between them.
Izuku’s head snaps up, and god Katsuki looks so unbelievably tired. He looks small and tired and just as lost as Izuku

Or, two very tired boys have a late night, long overdue conversation about their past, their feelings, and what it means to sacrifice it all.

“Oh.” And Will looks a lot more surprised at this, actually, than the idea that Mike might have just wanted to come to his room to make small talk about unseasonably frigid California winters. “Okay. What about?”
“Anything.” The response is embarrassingly immediate. “Everything. I don’t know. I missed you.”

He was on him in a second, one arm around his waist, the other navigating through the rubble as it fell, attempting to bury them. People were screaming and begging for help. The hero's who could fly like Bakugou were trying their best to help, but the whole building was coming down. There was furniture and rubble and metal falling in every direction. Bakugou couldn't tell where the screams were coming from; it felt like they were all around. What if he tried to blast himself out of this, and one of these screaming people were caught up in it?

Bakugou has a lot on his mind, things he's not ready to talk about. However, following an unknown villain attack, Midoriya and Bakugou are buried under what used to be Endeavour's Hero Agency.
