Cualquier fantasía que quieras satisfacer, Gerard es tu chico, o tu chica; tu Dom o tu Sub. Por Dios, hasta sería tu tía Marie si el precio está bien. Tal vez no sea muy profesional, pero lo que le falta de experiencia e higiene personal, lo compensa con entusiasmo y creatividad.
Frank sabe que es objetivamente una mala idea pagarle a su crush para que lo trate como un cachorro regularmente. Especialmente debido a que Gerard tiene una regla que no parece querer romper: no se acuesta con clientes.

Summary
The letters are pressed over the portrait, obscuring sections of it. Gerard had painted over parts of the letters too, adding surrealist scenes in shades of deep blues and gray that give the whole thing a dreamlike quality. You can still read most of the text though, Frank’s words visible for all to see. His confessions. Dirty, private things that he’d written to Gerard over the years.
Filthy things, angry things, soft, raw, vulnerable things.

“Maybe we should have a truce.”
Gerard laughs, a real one, and Frank feels a queasiness that he can’t attribute to anything concrete. “What are we, five? You act like we were Montagues and Capulets. It’s fine, we can try to be friends.”
“Cool.” Frank pauses. “By the way, about the call earlier – Geoff wouldn’t let me fire you. But, like, I hope that can turn out to be a good thing. As much as I hate to admit it…”
He trails off. Gerard raises his eyebrows. “Yes?”
“God, I don’t want to say it. But I guess it’s objectively true that working with you would probably make my book better.”
Gerard laughs again. “It sure as hell can’t make it worse. I did read your manuscript, it’s awful.”
“Hey, okay. I thought we called a truce.”
“For now,” Gerard says lightly.
