Someone’s going to have to kiss you to fix this. Like a fairytale.” He grins. He’s got nicer teeth than a villain who looks like he eats out of a dumpster should.

    Shouta stares at him. Then at himself - his graying face, the puddle of blood.

    “Of course,” he mutters. “Fucking weirdo villains and their fucking weird fixations.”

    Shouta's not sure he wants to be alive, but he's also not committed to the idea of dying. A stabbing while stopping a mugging makes him think about what he actually wants.
