The league were up in arms in seconds, everyones attention turned towards the intruder which… turned out to be a floating child-bat-person dressed in a clearly homemade Batman costume. Their face was crinkled up in irritation as they puffed a breath out of their nose. “Batman isn’t annoying. She’s trying her best.”

Summary
Kori never felt the cold the way Dick did, never felt the bite of winter that made his nose sting and cheeks pink. If anything, she was prone to overheating. Even in the dead of winter, she radiated warmth. Enough that he never needed to worry about rugging up before bed, or switching to a winter duvet. She never felt the pain of a slipped kitchen knife either, her own flesh much more durable than his.
Her hands shoots out to grasp his wrist, shock written across her face to see blood drawn over something so small “You’re hurt.”
“It’s fine,” He promises. He’s telling the truth, but she seems dubious anyway. He supposes he would be too, if he had grown up on a world where pain was never trivial, where blood spilling was an act of brutality instead of bad luck “I just need a bandage.”
“I’ll get it.” She insists, squeezing his wrist and dragging him closer, pressing a kiss to the corner of his mouth. Her hair gets in the way, brushing across his cheek and nose, it smells of sweet fruits and the kiss is tacky from the lip-gloss she’s wearing, but he doesn’t wipe it off. “Stay.”

Summary
Dick didn’t not like school. She loved school really, after the initial learning curve that came with going from being home schooled on the road to sitting in a classroom with 24 other kids. She was good at math, according to her teacher Mrs Kepner, and she was even better at PE according to her friend Elliot. She didn’t have any problems with school. She liked learning, liked her friends, liked the decorative banners Mrs Kepner had hung on the walls that had different equations on them. She just didn’t like today.

Summary
Bruce didn’t wear casual clothes often, and when he did, they were usually casual in the way only rich people found casual. Turtlenecks and slacks, loafers instead of oxfords, all in various neutral tones that Dick wrinkled her nose at. The only thing that could, in her opinion, be deemed as truly casual was the assortment of pyjama pants and plain, threadbare t-shirts he had owned since his late teens. Bruce, when asked, blamed Alfred. So, the jacket was a major find for her.

Summary
“Is the Red Hood’s helmet watertight?” someone asked, and Jason was cold and dripping and on the ground next to Dick and he wasn’t breathing.
“No,” Tim’s voice was tight.
“We need to take it off,” Lagoon Boy's words were met by a handful of yells, both in person and through the comms.
“This is the Red Hood,” Shazam said. “They say he has explosives in his helmet. It might explode if you try to take it,”
“Seriously?”
Dick reached towards the helmet to unlock it with trembling hands, to everyone’s alarm.
“The explosives.” Superboy interjected.
“Connor,” Tim cut in sharply. “We know what we’re doing,”I had thoughts about Jason being super cagey about his identity as the Red Hood to the point that he has explosives in his helmet to prevent people from taking it off, and the vulnerability of the Batfam members knowing the ins and outs of his helmet and how to take it off despite it all.
