“I’m not flirting!” Jesper complains, encouraging Wylan to sit up. He holds Wylan’s wrists gently, tying them together. Wylan watches him with wide eyes, the blush growing darker on his face. Jesper lowers his voice and whispers, “Unless you want me to be.”

“Well, hello there, gorgeous,” the man said, leaning a hip against the wall they were standing by. Wylan could feel his cheeks reddening at the words, clearing his throat as the man continued. “What can I do for you?”
“Well,” Wylan started, fidgeting a bit with his fingers at his coat hem. His forehead was starting to get warm underneath his blue beanie and the press of his red hair underneath it, the white puffball on the top weighing down on him. “I couldn’t help but overhear you at the counter. I think we’re facing the same problem, you need to be in Ketterdam by tomorrow, yes?”
