Summary
“Here you go, kid,” Tony said as he gave the mug to Peter. The kid smiled and took a careful sip and his eyes widened. Tony realized only then that this must be the first time the kid tasted cocoa. HYDRA probably didn’t offer that in their five-star hotel.
“This is awesome,” the kid breathed, smiling wide.

Peter has nightmares after being rescued from HYDRA. Fortunately, his new guardian is there to provide comfort and some hot cocoa.

“I like you,” the kid answered and while being very cute, it was still infuriating.
“Well, thank you,” Tony sighed and patted him on the head, “But it would probably be too narcissistic, even for me, to plaster your room with only my posters.”

Peter is rescued from HYDRA and now lives with Tony. The problem is that the kid doesn't seem to have any opinions on anything. Tony realizes that the kid has simply never had the ability to choose and Tony makes it his mission to introduce the kid to as many likable things as possible.

Peter is going to spend his Christmas with Tony Stark. Everything goes well until he breaks down because Tony hugs him. It's embarrassing at first but he does get a dad out of it so overall, it's pretty good Christmas.
Or, the author has daddy issues and wrote this because it's the only way they can deal with their emotions.
