Summary
At the age of four, Izuku Midoriya is subjected to a horrifying assault that leaves him without a quirk, though the memories of the event are locked away. Afterwards, strange changes begin to overcome Izuku, and as he finds most aspects of his physiology being enhanced, the figures watching him from the shadows can't help but have their interest piqued. Resolved to become a hero despite his lack of a quirk, Izuku gathers friends and mentors while making discoveries about both the nature of quirks, and the impacts they have on their wielders. In the shadows, sinister figures begin to take a more active interest in the boy, both in the changes within him and in the promise of his discoveries. Behind everything, the blood feud between All for One and One for All continues to rage, dragging Izuku into a conflict that has more to do with him than anyone would have at first thought.
