Summary
A once-in-a-lifetime school trip to Kitakami awards Juliana with brand new experiences when she meets a shy boy named Kieran and his extremely pretty, complicated sister Carmine. Though Juliana and Carmine don't see eye-to-eye at first, their adventures bring them deeper in each other's hearts than they'd ever imagined.
A retelling of "The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero" with a Juliana/Carmine romantic angle that starts out faithful but gradually diverges with new story beats and expanded character development.

"Yeah." Wild swallowed thickly, forcing bile down his throat.
"Well?" Legend raised an impatient eyebrow, and Wild turned away. How was he going to explain this? He'd told them virtually nothing of his journey. How was he supposed to convey how terrible this situation was? That the Blights had been revived.
