Annabeth gone, Percy starting to take a dangerous spiral, and his new charge Thalia is getting a little too big for her breaches. He’s trying to keep the younger kids out of the fight as much as he can but theres only so much he can do when the enemy army is waking up. The two gods that have made his life a living hell have thankfully started to back off a little, but someone has taken their place. There's just something about the man Marcus that draws Odysseus to him even though he can be so infuriating. He can’t focus on his heart right now, his kids need him. But do they need the monster that is starting to wake up inside him?
