Summary
Klaus sat before the altar in Saint Anne's, cradling Hayley's body, with Elijah on his knees before them. His little girl had been snatched from their arms to be sacrificed, and the man had no idea where to go from there. Klaus thought he felt helpless before, but the fear-cold-numb-rage that was rushing through his body was like nothing he had ever felt before. There was also a sense of something he couldn't quite place, but whatever it was, it simultaneously set his wolf on edge and filled him with a quiet, comforting sense of home.

The day her Mum passed was the day her life spiralled out of control, she had gained a name for herself on the streets, everyone knew who she was and not to piss her off. Her rap sheet was constantly getting longer and now she was serving time for a crime she didn’t even commit; but her finger prints were all over the crime scene and she was the last person to be seen with Jake, who had been brutally murdered.
The only person she had in her corner was Marcus Specter, a family friend of her mother’s and had promised to always keep an eye on Roxanna. Little did she know he was actually a blood relative, her uncle.
