"How can you say that to him?" Simon exclaimed, and everyone in the room's eyes snapped to him. He heard Wille suck in a breath next to him, and he could see out of the corner of his gaze how wide Wille's eyes had gone. Simon didn't turn to look at him, though he took a step closer. His eyes remained fixed on the woman in front of him. The thought that he was interrupting the Queen of Sweden was the least of his worries right now. What was his worry was that he could see how Wille was physically shrinking under her sharp gaze, could see how the confidence Wille had spoken with only minutes ago was waning.

The prince was holding up a familiar orange sweater, wrinkled from several late nights cuddle sessions, and wearing a confused smile. His head was tilted to the side, eyes darting back and forth from the clothing to his boyfriend.
Simon’s face slowly reddened.
