Government agencies, resurrected chiefs of police, a little bald girl with magical powers, ya know, just your typical superhero shit, that he was now a part of whether he liked it or not. He likes it, don’t get him wrong, it’s just also pretty goddamn nerve wracking to be part of a group of people as tight knit as this after spending years and years as the town pariah.

On a routine test flight, she is witness to the Darkstar implosion and rushes in to help without a second thought. Her assistance in the rescue and recovery of their pilot doesn't go unnoticed by the Navy and her project is tagged by the Pentagon to assist on a top secret mission being run by Top Gun. She'll spend three weeks at North Island Naval Air Station, training for the mission in Shade, an experimental model of jet plane built for stealth operations, alongside twelve of the best pilots in the Navy in their F-18's. With her career in position to be set forward by years, she'll have to wait to meet the pilot that's been flying through her head since that night: Pete "Maverick" Mitchell.
