Summary
Just a bit of fluff in response to Steven Moffatt's remarks this week via Video, regarding how the 'I Love You' call changed (or didn't) Molly and Sherlock's relationship. If you didnt see the video, Steven basically said that yes, Sherlock loves Molly, he will look after her, protect her, but he doesn’t love her ‘in the way that she wants to be loved’ Couldn't resist writing this in response. Hope you like it.

Victorian, because I just can't stop my fascination with that era and our heroes within that era. Set right after the revelation scene in Abominable Bride.
Illness/nursing/getting better and how that affects the relationship between Holmes and Hooper. I hope this subject isn't insensitive at this time, please don't read if you find the idea upsetting, but I can promise a happy ending. I for one have pretty bad health anxiety, not great in a global pandemic, and I somehow find fics like this comforting. I hope some of you do too.

Set a year after the events of the 'Abominable Bride'. Molly Hooper's career in the morgue is over and she has thrown herself into her suffragette activities with Mary Watson, who has become a close friend. Mary, for her part, has had enough of witnessing the brooding looks between Hooper and Holmes and has decided that Molly needs to take - ahem - matters into her own hands, and soon. The stage is set, the curtain rises....

Summary
I loved 'The Abominable Bride' and our Victorian Holmes and Hooper, so decided to allow myself a little carrying on of the story for Molly. It interested me to think about how things would be for her once she had 'outed' herself to Holmes and the Watsons, as a woman. I guess this is AU because in my story it's genuinely Victorian and not a figment of modern Sherlock's mind. In terms of Molly's role at Bart's as a woman, female doctors, etc. I have not worried too much about period detail because if Moffatt/Gatiss can play around with the timing of the Suffragette movement for dramatic purposes, then I reckon I can be a bit cavalier with some details too.
