When Barbara was a kid, her uncle would tell her stories about Batman and later, Robin. At first, they’d been simple. A bank robbery stopped here, a drug stash found there, but then the crimes got bigger. Shootout with the Falconies. The Maronis left in a train yard, beaten black and blue. Then it was Two-Face and Joker and Scarecrow and so many more.She’d stare out her window at night, thinking about the latest Rogue attack, knowing that someone needed to help them.
