Kevin Day's parents created a beautiful dance called The Fox Court ten years ago, meaning this is the last year it's eligible for an award. With one of his soloists suddenly dead, he needs a new person in the spot. And hey, his old friend Lia just resurfaced... as a guy named Neil, after the death of his mafia father, who was working for the mafia that sort of adopted Kevin when he was younger. This would be a terrible plan, but luckily Kevin has his dance partner Andrew Minyard close by.

Summary
When Natalie Wesninski realizes being a girl isn't what she wants, she knows she needs to take advantage of the fact her father is looking for his daughter. With his mothers help, he disguises himself as Mary's son (or whatever other name she's using at the time). When she dies, he joins the Foxes and gets the chance to be himself even more than his mother allowed. There are setbacks and challenges, but nothing he can't work through... with his new family.
